warning: check your sugar levels before reading this post. i attended the most unusual wedding reception a few nights ago at 583 park ave. unusual not only because there was no bride in sight and the grownup children and ex-wives of both of the grooms were happily toasting to kenny and michael, but also because the tables were piled with the most fingerlicking desserts anyone could ever imagine. cupcakes, cookies, brownies? check. cream puff pastries? check. macaroon tower cake? check. for this occasion, luckily enough, i squeezed into my alexander wang gunmetal dress that i bought at gilt.com and that is 2 sizes too small for me which i wore with an orange vintage clutch and silver jeffrey campbell shoes. i also managed to take a photo of this girl who was wearing a floral printed blouse with an animal printed skirt--cute!
