olek

agata oleksyak from poland, better known as olek, is quite an interesting persona.  those who have seen her chrocheted street objects know what im talking about! she is amazing!!! when i first stumbled into an abandoned bicycle with a colorful pattern lovingly looped around its every curve, i thought it was a joke. later, i saw more random objects around the city that appeared to have been touched by the same hands. i recently fount out about this artist. olek says: "i chrochet everything that enters or leaves my space". so if you didn't know it, now you do. before she chrochets you! http://agataolek.com/home.html. and here is a cool video about olek : http://player.videoinmybackyard.com/art/olek/13/7937/
