peru

i have been missing in action since i was in peru on a spotaneous last minute trip, for a week. decided to skip lima and fly direct (that means with 2 layovers) to cuzco and from there take a 4 day trip to machu picchu. the company was great, the guide and the support team were amazing, weather was wonderful, the people overall were so warm that i nearly cried on my last day there. check out the colorful tapestries set against the breathtaking view of snowcapped mountains that were oh so challenging to climb. yes, the 60km 3 day hike required pushing yourself and overcoming dizziness and very sore muscles but overall was well worth it.
